On Saturday August 28th, we will have our next field trip to the Stardust Ballroom in Bellmawr, NJ! Juan and Christina and the Cultural Explosion Dance Company will be performing, so come out and show your support! For those of you that have been there you know how much fun we have when we go, and if you have never been there then this is a great night to check it out. The Stardust Ballroom's name does sound like the Starlight Ballroom in Nutley where we have our parties, and actually the two places are quite similar. They are both huge, gorgeous ballrooms with amazing floors....basically a dancer's dream!
The Stardust is actually bigger than Starlight, and it is in South Jersey (off exit 3 on the NJ Turnpike). This is where one of NJ's best Salsa parties takes place, with dancers coming from all over NJ, NY, Pennsylvania, Washington DC and Delaware. At the Stardust, there are always great people to dance with, hot music, and again ....a fabulous floor! And the only thing that makes this place even hotter is when Cultural Explosion invades it! So come support us and hang out with us on August 28th for their party & the next day for our workshops.
We promise it will be a blast! So come to the party & spend the night so that you can join us at the workshops on Sunday. We have an action packed night of dancing & performances and an action packed afternoon of workshops. Since the Ballroom is so huge we decided to add a few of our Salsa Instructor Contacts to the list of instructors teaching. We have the top NJ & Philly Salsa Instructors all teaching under one roof for this very special Salsa Bootcamp. The list of instructors includes: Juan Calderon, Christina Piedra, Mike Andino, Christy Kam, Joe Figueroa & Sonya Elmore...all confirmed!! So mark your calendar....August 28th & 29th, 2010.
